My name is Ty Hopp, and I'm a software engineer with expertise in web and Node.js projects.

I grew up in a small town in southern California, and Singapore is home for me now. It's humid, but I love everything else about it.

I've been an open source maintainer for a major JavaScript framework (Gatsby), developer of a design system and application for a major financial exchange (SGX), and architect of frontend products for multiple startups (Yardstick, Casting Depot, Flyright).

My wheelhouse is the web and Node.js, but I've also written programs in Rust, Python, Swift and Java. The opportunity to work in other environments is something I seek out rather than avoid.
